Molto spesso noi fotografi ci concentriamo troppo su aspetti più materiali come la bellezza di una modella o di un paesaggio o sulla nostra attrezzatura, ma non teniamo in considerazione il principio fondamentale della fotografia:
foto- (dal greco φῶς, -φωτός, luce) e -grafia (dal greco γραϕία, disegno)
…che quindi e’ scrivere con la luce.
Questo video e’ molto interessante perché ci fa capire come non solo l’uso della luce possa condizionare lo scatto, ma anche come possa modificare l’espressività’ del soggetto. A mio parere, anche quando guardiamo le fotografie dei grandi maestri dovremmo analizzare questo aspetto perché ci potrebbe portare a nuovi stimoli.

photo- (derived from the Greek φῶς, -φωτός, light) e -graphy (derived from the Greek γραϕία, draw)
…together meaning “drawing with light”
This video is really interesting because we can understand how light can affect the shoot as well as the expressivity of the subject. Personally, we should analyse this aspect also when we observe the photos of the great masters, so this can lead us to experiment new ways to work.
